HEON will be running a Transition to University Day for Year 13 students applying to university. The event will be hosted at one of our partner institutions and will involve workshops that aim to support students through the final stage of their UCAS application and their transition to Higher Education.
What is it?
HEON's Transition to University Day will be a one-day event hosted by our partner, Royal Holloway, and will include activity-based workshops on personal statements and interviews as well as interactive presentations covering student finance and what to expect in the first few weeks of university. Students will also receive a tour of Royal Holloway to get a feel for campus life, watch some sport fixtures being played, and have lunch in one of the campus restaurants. This interesting and engaging event will provide key information on the processes of applying to, preparing for, and starting university.
