A programme of webinars have been created by the Southern Collaborative Networks, made up of ten National Networks for Collaborative Outreach (NNCO) dedicated to improving access to higher education.
This webinar looks at the important role that FE colleges play in widening participation. Looking through the eyes of current students and recent graduates, it explores the reasons behind choosing college based HE, the opportunities available (including the types of courses), their experience of the course and the benefits of studying in a college environment. The session is particularly relevant for careers advisors, teachers, heads of sixth form, or anyone interested in gaining an insight into an alternative HE experience for their students.
With thanks to the Kent and Medway Collaborative Network for delivering this webinar on 25th January 2016.
