TYPES OF GOALS Goals need to be time-driven in order to be achievable. There are three different types of goals that we might set ourselves: Short-term goals: These are targets that we can achieve quite quickly (e.g. in a day or a few hours). Some examples might include cooking a meal, fixing something that’s broken or tidying your bedroom.Medium-term goals: These are longer-term actions which may take a few days, a week or even a month.
