Creativity Unbound: The pedagogical power of prison-university partnerships

The University of Surrey has contributed a chapter in the new e-book “Co-Constructing Education For All“, published for the Forum for Access and Continuing Education (FACE).

The Chapter was authored by WP&O colleagues, Alicia Holloway & Dr Joe Hickinbottom, and former University of Surrey evaluation staff members, Dr Karla Lopez-Murillo & Ivana Doncheva, and focuses on a creative writing project, delivered at HMS Downview in Sutton, Surrey. The chapter contributes to the evidence of the value of prison-university partnerships providing prisoners with non-traditional modes of education engagement and opportunities to connect with the community and society.
